Mon Petit Prêt determines alone and at its own discretion the fees and charges for each bond or financial product offered. It is important to know that these fees are independent of the interests claimed by the Lender. The guarantee fee charged depends on the level of risk assumed and is determined according to the analysis of your credit report. In addition to this service, we can offer you assistance in drawing up a budget, obtaining a lease bond, consolidating your debts and evaluating your ability to repay. Don't hesitate to talk to one of our agents: they can help you! Getting a micro loan may not be the best solution for you.

If you are still looking for a loan, we encourage you to borrow responsibly. We know that we cater to a riskier market of customers in terms of credit, so you should expect to pay a higher interest rate than conventional institutions. However, we can guarantee you this: you will never pay a higher rate than the one allowed by the Consumer Protection Act. Nevertheless, these types of loans should only be taken out in an emergency or when you have no other options for immediate financial assistance. Be especially careful not to take out a large number of short-term loans at the same time, as you could see your debt ratio increase drastically and find yourself unable to meet all your payments.

All applications submitted to us must undergo an analysis process to assess the Borrower's ability to repay. Anyone who claims to be able to offer you a loan without analyzing your ability to repay is in violation of the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act. In order to remain compliant with the Act, we must verify your monthly salary, employment stability, how you manage your finances, your contractual obligations (lease, other credit agreements) and your credit history. If you do not meet our criteria and we feel you are too high a risk, your application will be denied. Rest assured, however, that our primary goal is not to harm you but to help you. For all approved applications, we recommend that you read the contract sent by the Lender to ensure that you are aware of its terms.

If you are having trouble making your payments, we recommend that you call a Lender's agent to make arrangements with them. We only work with lenders who respect customers in difficulty. They may offer you various forms of accommodation, such as payment deferrals or reductions for a fee. In the event that you become unable to meet your obligations, our lenders will use responsible collection techniques to handle your case. In most cases, the Borrower is responsible for all legal fees incurred in the collection of the debt and the debt may be demanded in full by the Lender as soon as you break your commitment. Once in this situation, there is nothing we can do to help you.

Just as in the case of loans granted by conventional institutions, all our clients who have faithfully honored their commitments will be offered the possibility of renewing their contract. The establishment of good repayment practices could also allow them to obtain a higher capital at the time of a next request or even to obtain other types of financial products. Please note! This should not be construed as an opportunity to improve your credit score with credit agencies such as Equifax and TransUnion. Our services are not considered in the calculation of your credit score. Here is a more concrete example: if we have guaranteed a loan that you are paying back over 3 to 5 months, and you have regularly made all your payments, and our risk is now reduced, we could guarantee your next request for a bond. This would allow you to get new cash immediately and only start paying back the new guaranteed loan after the last drawdown of your previous loan.
