Service providers and communication outside Québec

To run this site and process your requests, Mon Petit Prêt uses the service providers below. Each receives only the information it needs to provide its service. Some are located in the United States, so your personal information may be communicated outside Québec.

  • Site hosting: the site is hosted on a server located in Québec (OVHcloud, Beauharnois). What you enter in our forms passes through it on its way to the recipients described below.
  • Bot protection, Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., United States): on pages with a form, Turnstile checks that the submission comes from a person. Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser and device, but none of the information you enter in the form. Cloudflare may also use this data to improve Turnstile, under its privacy addendum (https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/).
  • Loan application, FinX platform: your loan application is sent directly by our server to the FinX platform we use to process applications (the clients.monpetitpret.com portal), together with your IP address and the time of submission, which serve as a record of your consent. On the second step of the form, the terms box loads directly from that portal: your browser connects to it, and your acceptance of the terms is recorded there. The platform is hosted by Amazon Web Services in its Canada (Central) region.
  • Address suggestions, Google (Google LLC, United States): when you type your address in the application form, our server sends the text you typed to Google’s Places service to show suggestions. Google receives neither your name nor your other information, and the request comes from our server, not from your device. You can also type your address yourself without using the suggestions.
  • Contact form and lease co-borrower request, Amazon SES (Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc.) and Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States): your message and contact details (name, email, phone and, for a lease co-borrower request, the rent range and planned rental period) reach us by email through Amazon SES, in the Canada (Central) region, in the Montréal area. Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. is located in Toronto and its parent company is located in the United States: this information could be communicated outside Québec, in particular to comply with a legal obligation or an order from an authority, or through remote access by its personnel. Resend may also deliver them to us by email, in which case it keeps a copy in the United States for 30 days. The message is then kept in our mailbox (Google Workspace, Google LLC).

Cookies and measurement tools

No measurement or advertising cookie is active before you choose. The consent banner lets you accept or refuse each category, and “Reject all” is offered at the same level as “Accept all”. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. Refusing these cookies has no effect on how your loan application is handled.

  • Essential: your choice is stored in your browser for 13 months. A session cookie (__Host-address-session, 1 hour) supports the address suggestions of the application form.
  • Analytics: no tool runs in this category for now. The site’s measurement tools belong to the Marketing category, described below.
  • Marketing, site measurement (if you accept it): Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics (Google LLC, United States), which measures how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, device and browser type, approximate region (_ga and _ga_* cookies, 2 years). It also loads Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, United States), which produces heatmaps and session replays (movements, clicks, scrolling) without recording what you type in forms (_clck, 1 year, and _clsk, 1 day).
  • Marketing, advertising (if you accept it): Google Ads (Google LLC, United States) measures the results of our ads, for example a call or the start of an application (_gcl_au cookie, 90 days). Meta’s pixels (Meta Platforms, Inc., United States) measure the performance of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and help show them to people likely to be interested (_fbp cookie, 90 days). When you accept this category, Google may also associate these measurements with Google accounts, under its own terms.

Because these providers are located in the United States, information collected by these tools may be communicated outside Québec. This section was added on September 25, 2026.
